Itinerary
Full-Day Itinerary:
03:30 AM – 04:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to Ollantaytambo train station.
04:36 AM – 06:10 AM: Travel on the Voyager or Expedition train to Aguas Calientes, surrounded by the stunning views of the Sacred Valley.
06:10 AM – 06:30 AM: Arrival at Aguas Calientes. You will be met by your guide and escorted to the bus terminal.
06:30 AM – 07:00 AM: Bus transfer from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
07:00 AM – 09:00 AM: Guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring its most iconic places: the Guardian’s House, the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana (Sun Stone), the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock, and the agricultural and urban sectors.
09:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Free time to explore the site on your own, take photos, or just enjoy the views.
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Return by bus to Aguas Calientes.
11:00 AM – 13:30 PM: Free time for lunch or shopping in Aguas Calientes (lunch not included).
14:30 PM: Board the return train to Ollantaytambo.
16:30 PM – 19:00 PM: Arrival in Ollantaytambo and transfer back to Cusco. Estimated hotel drop-off around 7:00 PM.
